Cherry Street Capital commences construction on 601 West, a $19 million project at the NW corner of Lake Michigan Drive. The project will include the construction of one five-story building and one three-story building totaling 61,300 Square Feet. The development will include 63 units of market rate apartments in a mix of studio, one, two, and three bedroom apartments with 8,500 SF of commercial space on the ground level.
First Companies, Inc. will build the project which will also feature underground parking for residents as well as a surface lot tucked behind the property for guests and patrons of the commercial tenants.

Centered on the West Side, 601 West will serve as a strong anchor to an active corridor with anticipated completion of Spring of 2018.
