The New Cassopolis Family Clinic, a Community Health Center located on the southeast corner of M-62 and Don Horne Park Road, was funded through a federal grant made available by the Affordable Care Act. The proximity to a public park made the the current clinic at 109 School Street unavailable for expansion. The new 30,000 SF building is three times larger and will have a community room, 24 exam rooms, 2 procedure areas and 3 additional physicians allowing for a 50% increase in patients seen. Services offered includes medical, dental, behavioral health, laboratory and pharmaceutical. Exterior construction involves required parking, pedestrian walkways and optimization of green space.
