2018 – Barbara Osterman Cabin The Barton Group is proud to be a part of the renovation of the Barbara Osterman Cabin in Alma’s Conservation Park, known as the “Hearts and Hands” project. The cabin was originally known as the “Alma Girl Scouts Cabin.” In 1997, it was renamed after Osterman, who was actively involved with Girl Scouts during her life before she passed away in 1996. The cabin hadn’t been updated in nearly 31 years. The major renovation included replacing windows and doors and remodeling the kitchen and bathrooms.
