TecNiq Inc. is investing $6.6 million in the construction of a new 100,000 + square-foot production facility in Comstock Charter Township, just east of Kalamazoo.

This expansion comes as TecNiq is a rapidly growing company that has outgrown their current facility in Richland.

The manufacturer of LED lighting products for fleet vehicles, construction trailers and other applications, expects to hire an additional 120 workers as a result of the expansion.

TecNiq manufactures the most energy efficient LED lighting in the world for anything that travels down the road: trucks, trailers, RVs, Boats, etc. They are constructing a new 100,000 sf plant at 8900 E. Michigan Ave in Comstock Township, next door to Bell’s production brewery.

The Barton Group is acting as Owner’s Representative directing all aspects of the construction and moving of the business.

The architect for the project is Bosch Architecture and Cornerstone Construction Management is acting as the General Contractor.

TecNiq is expected to move into their new facility in late April of this year.
