A new 5-Story multi-use building built to help relieve the housing needs of the Sturgis community and be the catalyst of economic development in the area.
Located in the heart of downtown Sturgis, MI, The Barton Group has partnered with Root & Branch Real Estate to bring The Watershed to life. The 5- story mixed-use building will feature 23 housing units, including studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments with a 5,000 SF ground floor destination steakhouse specializing in locally sourced ingredients.
A total of 25,000 SF building is being funded from the Michigan Strategic Fund and community grants to infuse the $12.5 million dollar project cost. Poised to ease the local housing crisis, enhance the area’s retail mix, and catalyze investment by making future development more economically viable.
